Welcome to Mr. E on Art History! I’m Jason Eoff, an artist and college art and art history instructor with more than 25 years of teaching experience. This channel grew out of the video lessons I create for my online, hybrid, and in-person college classes. Here you’ll find accessible, engaging explorations of artists, artworks, art movements, and visual culture—from the ancient world to the present. My goal is to make art feel less distant or intimidating and more like what it truly is: a powerful human language for understanding history, identity, beauty, belief, power, and the human experience. These videos are made for my students, but they are also for anyone who wants to look more closely, think more deeply, and stay curious. I also make videos that celebrate and make the case for the arts and humanities, because they help us understand the world—and ourselves. 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications to join the journey!
