Melle captures the essence of music with an unrefined, natural, and authentic sound, embodying a raw and youthful spirit. His music is organic and intentionally lacks polish, giving a sense of pure, unfiltered expression. He's inspired by Sam Fender, Phoebe Bridgers and Tom Odell. He's an instrument collector, playing 20 different ones on his debut debut album and stuffing his studio with a cimbalom, theremin, his signature 'cigar box guitar' and much more. This unique palette of sounds sets him apart most of all. His brand new album 'Before I Lose It' is a search for identity and a thirst to be your unapologetic self. He quotes Cass Elliot's song 'Make Your Own Kind Of Music' which helped him to make the music he loves himself without listening to outside opinions. In his songs he honestly illuminates both the joys and challenges of relationships and shows his views on problems of today’s society like capitalism and inequality.
