Topics music, songwriting, indie, pop, live-performances

Ginne Marker made her debut in 2019 with the album, For Seasons to Come, to great reviews. She was awarded Talent of The Year and Composer of The Year at the prestigious Carl Prisen 2020. Where the debut album offered organically written songs with singer/songwriter roots, the follow up album from 2021, ULTERIA, showed a broader side of her incredible talent for storytelling and mix of genres. Ginne Marker’s extraordinary and elastic vocal leaves listeners thinking of Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchell and Jeff Buckley. Her presence and nerve goes straight to your heart - this is not only an artist that really makes an effort but also possesses a rare and deepfelt ability to speak directly to the core of your emotions. With more than 15 million streams, multiple awards and sold out tours, Ginne Marker not only shows her strong sense of songwriting but also underlines her name as - quoted in reviews - “Obviously one of the greatest talents the Danish music scene has seen for the last decade.”
