This channel is a visual archive of photographer, videographer, and art/humanitarian activist Khusen Rustamov. It exists at the intersection of fashion, documentary practice, and cultural collaboration with independent creative communities. Rooted in Central Asian & Russian dark visual culture, the work explores identity, aesthetics, and social reality through long-term projects, fieldwork, and humanitarian initiatives aimed at cultural and social transformation through art. Travel is an essential part of the process — moving between places, communities, and contexts shapes each project and its visual language. Alongside external observation, this space also reflects personal experience — emotional states, internal processes, and lived moments that inevitably become part of the work. Channel functions as archive practice, where art, activism, and personal narrative merge into evolving visual system. It also includes non-authored videos as historical context in cultural timeline.
