VOSCREEN: UNITING PEOPLE VIA LANGUAGE Voscreen language learning software acts as a supplement to traditional methods of English instruction, while also making available independent learning to those previously unable to access it. Whereas English as a Second Language (ESL) courses or job-based training require large investments of time and money, as well as access to the requisite programs in the first place, Voscreen is a modern, entirely cost-free language learning application available online and on mobile devices. Voscreen enables learning by engaging the user with short video clips that reflect English as it is naturally spoken. As Internet access around the world skyrockets, millions of new people every year have the opportunity to increase their social and economic welfare by learning English. Voscreen provides this opportunity. Voscreen will remain free to use for anyone with Internet access, overcoming common barriers to education such as gender, ethnicity, or income.
