Joyful. Quirky. Irresistibly cheeky. So often are the words used to describe the ukulele applied to its players as well. And who would object to such a reputation, built on a sturdy foundation of positivity, individuality, and passion? The ukulele community connects generations and welcomes players of all levels, from "Ahi Wela" on the beach to Bach in the concert hall—it asks only that you appreciate the beauty of music made on four mischievous strings. Ukulele magazine celebrates your enthusiasm and inclusiveness. We want to fill our pages with your stories and playful spirit. At our best, we hope to strengthen our readers' connections to each other, and to the music that ties the community together. Expressive wardrobe encouraged, but not required.
