Welcome, I am Muhammed Elgammal, The Egyptian Cook, sharing the vibrant flavors and rich traditions of Egyptian food and culture I grew up with. Find my full recipes — complete with ingredients, written instructions, and videos— on my website theegyptiancook.com. I live with Stargardts disease, a form of macular degeneration I was diagnosed with as a teenager. It affects my central vision, but it has not stopped me from cooking and sharing Egyptian food and culture. So if you notice that I don’t always look directly at the camera, or that a shot sometimes looks a little blurry— that’s why. I don’t always get it perfect, but that’s part of my journey, and I hope it inspires others to keep creating no matter the challenge. 🤲 Yallah, Bismillah. | .يلا بسم الله 🥩 Where's the lahma?™ 🌐 Recipes on my website. theegyptiancook.com 👕 Merch is now available.
