What Silk and Steel makes

Topics geopolitics, philosophy, poetry, human-experience, global-power

This is a space, Where the hard edge of global power meets the soft whisper of the human soul. Hosted by Dhanuka Dickwella, this channel is a dedicated exploration of the dualities that define our existence: the geopolitical "Steel" of empires, economy, and history, and the "Silk" of poetry, philosophy, and the intimate human experience. On the Steel side, we dismantle the "Optics of Empire," analyzing the receding tide of Western soft power, the rising influence of the East, and the shifting pieces on the global chessboard. We look past the headlines to find the structural truths of how our world is governed. On the Silk side, we reclaim the "Sacred Gaze." Through original poetry, literary reflections, and philosophical inquiries, we explore the "grey areas" of life—where desire, mortality, and identity converge. Join the Journey. This is not just a channel; it is an intellectual and spiritual voyage. Subscribe to Silk & Steel. Let’s navigate the chessboard, and the heart, together.
