Sigala is one of the most recognisable names in UK dance music; a homegrown star turned international favourite who’s spent the past decade refining the sweet spot between pop precision and feel-good release. Over the years, he’s dialled in on a sound that feels unmistakably his. It’s euphoric, cathartic and irresistible – a kind of shorthand for hands-in-the-air bliss, be it down in the club or up on the mainstage. Since releasing “Easy Love” – his Jackson 5-sampling debut that soared to No.1 in the UK – in 2015, the London-based producer and DJ, paired with his chock-full catalogue, has helped sketch out the blueprint for modern dance-pop. Beyond the standout streaming stats, Sigala and his music have been widely recognised elsewhere throughout all of this. He’s landed 8 UK Top 10 singles, 7 global platinum singles, 10 global gold singles and over 22 million sales worldwide. There’s a BRIT nomination in there (for “Lullaby” with Paloma Faith), and some 1 billion-plus video views.
