Strong is Beautiful #قوى-بودن-زيباست Former captain of the Afghan National Women's Soccer Team. 2006 Arthur Ashe Courage Award winner. Blair Academy alum. Drew University grad. DC. resident ⚽️❤️ My goal is to inspire and empower women globally by promoting a healthy lifestyle. I want to encourage women to engage in physical activity on a daily basis, which will reduce their risk of suffering from chronic diseases and build their confidence. Additionally, since soccer empowered me and provided me with many opportunities, I want to show people the power of sports and physical activity to change and improve people's lives globally. Research has shown that women and girls who participate in sports and fitness programs are healthier and more likely to succeed academically.
