A channel for representational artists who desire to improve their oil painting craft. This channel features oil painting tutorials, rendering methods, product reviews/recommendations, art marketing tips, motivation, and general art discussion from Ernest Vincent Wood III, professional oil painter. The videos on Paint Sense outline how to paint what you see, one of the most rewarding abilities an artist can possess. The focus of Paint Sense is to encourage artists to find the necessary space-creating elements, understand how to render form, and to allow oil paint to do what it does best. Imagine understanding space, value, and color so that you can capture skin tones with excellence, reflective surfaces with ease, clouds, animals, fabric, glass and more all the while with beautiful color and satisfying results. Never stop painting.
