Mio Matsuda is an internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter and translator who breathes new life into the melodies of the earth. From the nostalgic depths of Portuguese fado to the vibrant rhythms of South America, her artistry weaves together music from different continents, languages, and eras. Singing fluently in Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, and Cape Verdean Creole, she is a musical archivist and storyteller whose work transcends geographic and temporal boundaries.
