What Michael New makes

Topics music theory, songwriting, performance, sheet music, practice routines

I do lessons on music theory, ranging from simple topics like chords or rhythm to more complex things like how to write music. I also upload songs I've written or songs I like to play. I have a bachelor's degree in music performance, but I have a fairly low opinion of how music theory is traditionally taught. I think if you strip away a lot of the jargon and old conventions it becomes far easier to understand the ideas behind music. *Gear* You can find most of what I use on my Amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/shop/michaelnew I get a small kickback if you buy anything through that link, so if you want to help support me a little and you need some new stuff, give it a look.
