Topics music, activism, personal growth, climate action, songwriting

Lakshmi is a songwriter and a singer, known for capturing themes such as activism, personal growth, and love in her angelic songs. Her passion for art in all its forms is unmistakable, particularly evident in her music videos, where she envisions her music amidst fairy tale-like, surrealistic settings. Her distinctive voice gracefully floats above menacing synthesizers and heavy drums. She performs not only in pop venues, theaters, and festivals but also in museums and at climate protests. Her songs can be performed intimately with just a piano or built up by a band or even an orchestra, showcasing her versatility as an artist. Alongside her music, she advocates for girls' rights and climate action. As a Plan International ambassador, she highlights global inequalities faced by girls and fights sexual violence. Aware of the link between climate change and women's rights, she uses her platform to inspire action against injustice.
