Lacoste is a fashion brand deeply rooted in the world of sport. Created by tennis player René Lacoste, the first polo shirt debuted in 1933. Ever since, Lacoste has symbolized French elegance: a balance between chic and relaxed style, which resonates with all creative free spirits. Elegant style, certainly, but more, too. For Lacoste, elegance is a value - how you act, a way of being in the world, consideration, fair play. It is a human quality that distinguishes and encompasses individuals beyond their social, geographic or cultural differences. This collective vision is embodied in the crocodile. Tenacious and daring, it puts all the Lacoste values on your shirt and your heart.
