What Hong Kong Housing Society香港房屋協會 makes

Topics housing, community, real-estate, innovation, urban-development

We are an independent and not-for-profit organisation serving the housing needs of the community as Hong Kong’s “housing laboratory”. Subsequent to the first rental estate in HK, Sheung Li Uk, which was built in 1952, HKHS has implemented different housing schemes over the years, including public rental housing, Flat-For-Sale Scheme, Urban Improvement Scheme, Sandwich Class Housing Scheme, Home Starter Loan Scheme, Subsidised Sale Flats and elderly housing projects. We are also managing a portfolio of over 20 rental estates and providing property management services for private flats. Since our establishment in 1948, we have been serving our community with a social mission. This mission and commitment will remain unchanged as we move forward in tandem with the city.
