Welcome to GH Traditional History — a channel dedicated to preserving, documenting and sharing rich stories, traditions and historical heritage of Ghana. We journey across the country to uncover the stories, traditions and cultures of its people — from the Akan, Ewe, Ga, Fante, Ga-Dangme, Mole-Dagbani and Guan, to the many other communities that shape Ghana’s identity. Through oral traditions, festivals, folklore, music, beliefs, customs and historical narratives, we explore both well-known and untold stories that have defined Ghana from pre-colonial times to the present. Each story we share helps preserve the past, celebrate the present and inspire future generations. Whether you are a student, part of the Ghanaian diaspora, or simply curious about African culture, this channel is your home for authentic storytelling and a deeper understanding of Ghana’s roots. Subscribe and join us as we explore Ghana — one tradition, one history, one story at a time.
