Fritz Kalkbrenner’s breakthrough came in 2008 with ‘Sky and Sand’, a collaboration with his brother Paul Kalkbrenner, which was featured on seminal film "Berlin Calling" and quickly became a generational anthem, catapulting the fraternal duo to international acclaim. Fritz Kalkbrenner seized the baton and ran, continuing to develop the unique strain of emotive electronic music that struck a chord with so many around the world. He’s spent the best part of two decades since, tirelessly carving out a space for his trailblazing strain of emotive electronic music. Fritz’s work marries deep emotion with electronic beats, creating a sound that resonates both on the dancefloor and in intimate listening environments. By now, his legacy extends far beyond his own discography. With an impressive lineup of club and festival gigs across Germany and Europe, and a steady stream of chart-topping releases, he continues to push things forward over two decades after his first found fame.
