What Freedom Homestead makes

Topics family, gardening, simple recipes, homesteading, empty nesters

What makes your spirit grow? For us, it’s Christ’s love for us—and the life we’ve built together. We’re a Kentucky family sharing real life as it comes—home projects, simple recipes, everyday routines, and the moments in between. If you’ve been here a while, you’ve watched our kids grow up right alongside us… and now we’re getting to watch them build lives of their own—and start families of their own. This season looks a little different, and that’s okay. We’re stepping into life as empty nesters—focusing on home, travel, and simply enjoying the life we’ve built together. If you know the song, you already understand. If you’re new here… you will. Around here, we’re just living life one day at a time— and still asking the same question: what makes your spirit grow
