We sold everything. Packed six suitcases. Took our dog and our hard drives. And moved to Spain — without ever setting foot in Europe first. We're Paul and Bea — Filipinos who spent 13 years chasing the American dream in Southern California before deciding the dream needed a different zip code. We moved to Valencia, figured out the whole Spanish immigration system ourselves (no agencies, no shortcuts), and two years later we became Spanish citizens. Now we document all of it. Life in Valencia. Slow travel. The real cost of living here. What nobody tells you about relocating to Europe. The bureaucracy that will test your patience and your printer. If you've ever thought about leaving — or you're already mid-move and slightly panicking — you're in the right place. We're not experts. We're just two people who did the thing, met a lot of helpful folks and kept the receipts. Subscribe if that sounds like your kind of people.
