What Emerald Publishing makes

Topics research, publishing, education, knowledge, society

Emerald Publishing is a global academic publisher of research with a clear purpose: to publish and advance knowledge that has real‑world impact. Founded in 1967, Emerald has spent nearly 60 years championing research that serves society, not just scholarship. From day one we've done things differently - by focussing on usable knowledge, amplifying voices and breaking barriers, especially for those beyond elite circles. Our mission has always been clear: research should drive change in classrooms, boardrooms, and communities. That vision - measuring success in lives changed, policies influenced, and challenges addressed - still defines us today.
