What DoppelgängeR makes

Topics gothic, rock, music, live-concerts, russian-music

DoppelgangeR compose, dance and sing music in the best traditions of old-school gothic rock, or rather the goth rock, which just came out of post-punk and is not perceived separately from it. In fact, this is not goth rock in its classical sense, and not the most related genre deathrock, and not one of the shades of post-punk. It's about all at once! Band was formed in 1994 in Moscow, Russia. DoppelgängeR's discography includes ten full-length albums. This is a band that has long become a clear marker of the Russian gothic scene. They are not just the most seasoned national team in this outline, but probably the most famous. DoppelgängeR was play at Creeper Fest (2007, Lithuania), Lumous Gothic Festival (2006, Finland), Castle Party Festival (2010, Poland), Wave Gotik Treffen (2015, Germany).
