What Dekker makes

Topics indie, folk, pop, music, songwriting

Dekker is the project of American songwriter Brookln Dekker, now based in the UK. His music lives in the space between indie folk and indie pop, pairing intimate songwriting with rhythmic acoustic guitar and warm, textural production. His fifth album, Man on the Mend (out 19 February 2027), grew from a period of deep reflection, burnout and recovery. Written, performed and produced by Dekker in his home studios, its ten songs balance vulnerability with an instinctive reach towards light. Since beginning the project in 2019, Dekker has built an international following with 250 million streams, sold out European tours and a community of listeners who continue to find their own stories in his songs. Here on YouTube, you’ll find official videos, live sessions and fragments from under the hat.
