Curly Strings is an award-winning Estonian band known for heartfelt songwriting, rich acoustic sound, and energetic live performances. Formed in 2012 by four musicians with backgrounds in folk, classical, and jazz music, the band blends Nordic and Baltic influences with original songs that move between intimacy, virtuosity, and joy. Their music combines acoustic instruments, strong melodies, and sincere storytelling — bringing together elements of folk, pop, and chamber music in a way that feels both timeless and contemporary. Curly Strings became one of Estonia’s most beloved bands with a rare crossover success: acoustic music reaching mainstream audiences while staying deeply personal and musically distinctive. Over the years, the band has toured across Europe and Japan, released multiple albums, and built a loyal audience through their warm and emotionally honest approach to music.
