The three places Corey Kent has spent most of his life: Bixby, Oklahoma, Nashville, Tennessee, and Dallas, Texas. Poised to be country’s latest Red Dirt star (Rolling Stone), Corey Kent is a proud husband and father with heartland roots and over one billion career streams. After an early move to Nashville, Kent sharpened his sound blending country grit with rock energy before returning to Texas and cutting his teeth in honky-tonks and dancehalls across the Red River. His breakout hit “Wild As Her” became a Double-Platinum No. 1, followed by the Gold-certified fan anthem “Something’s Gonna Kill Me.” Named the most played new artist on country radio in 2023, Kent toured with Jason Aldean, Parker McCollum, Ashley McBryde and more. Now based on a Texas ranch and focused on faith, family, and staying grounded, Kent released his sophomore major label album Black Bandana—a bold statement of purpose rooted in balance, conviction, and connection. The black bandana isn’t just a look.
