The Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian is a collaboration between Harvard and Smithsonian designed to ask — and ultimately answer — humanity’s greatest unresolved questions about the nature of the universe. Observatory Nights are held at the Center for Astrophysics (CfA) twice a semester on the third Thursday of every month during the academic year. These publicly accessible astronomy talks are live streamed on our YouTube Channel and cover a variety of timely topics, from the solar system and exoplanets to the distant reaches of the universe. To see a list of upcoming programs, select CfA Upcoming Events from the links below. To see news conferences, scientist interviews, and animations click on the link to the CfA Press Channel. We monitor comments and posts on this channel consistent with the Smithsonian terms of use, as described at http://si.edu/termsofuse, and we reserve the right to remove content in accordance with these terms.
