Hi, I'm Carmen Shenk and I weave new cloth and turn old garments, vintage textiles, and all sorts of old textures into colorful artsy clothing, wearable art accessories, and unique textile art. Follow along as I find ways to reimagine, reconstruct, refashion, and rework old textiles into new things that are great fun to wear. I weave on a rigid heddle loom with yarn I've dyed myself. I paint, sew, dye and anything else that looks like good wearable colorful fun. I made hats, clothing, jewelry, and artwork, and I often change the color of thrifted finds and leather goods.
