What Bank Australia makes

Topics sustainability, banking, environment, social-justice, community

As Australia’s first customer-owned bank, and a certified B Corporation, we do things a bit differently to most banks. We’re not obligated to external shareholders, so we can balance purpose and profit. Our responsible banking policy means we use money as a force for good. No funding the fossil fuel industry, gambling or live animal exports. We do fund our everyday customers, clean energy transition, affordable and accessible housing and protecting nature and biodiversity -- including through a 2,117 hectare conservation reserve on Wotjobaluk Country in Western Victoria. Finder even awarded us Green Bank of the Year four times. Discover more and join over 300,000 customers using money as a force for good. Visit bankaust.com.au
