For this reason along with a lot of policies based on a misunderstandings and poor public opinion, in many areas of the country, apex predator numbers are significantly above fish and game management objectives. This is having a harmful effect on game populations, causing more human related issues and resulting in the killing and “wasting” of a lot of apex predators. My goal is to have a positive effect and to form a bridge of understanding between the opposing viewpoints. While I love seeing these magnificent apex predators, and firmly believe they do belong in our ecosystem. I also support game management efforts and legal regulated hunting of apex predators to help maintain a balance that benefits all of the ecosystem as well as human interests. -RGL
